Golf
Ireland is marvellous natural golfing
country. Courses in meadowland, parkland and superb, coastal
settings await the visitor. There is a whole series of lovely
links along the coasts of Donegal. We have nine golf courses
in our vicinity, most of them within easy driving distance
from Innish Beg Cottages. Green fees vary from £10 to £35.
All courses have club facilities. With adequate notice, most
of these courses can offer the whole course to a large party.
 Bundoran
- 18 hole champion course, £14-16. Lessons available, two
instructors, £10 for 30 minutes. This course is one the oldest
in the area and is on the sea front. Clubs & carts can

Castle Coole - 18 hole, park land course, £12-15.
Castle Coole is an old course set in the grounds of Castle
Coole, (the National Trust's most important property), set
amongst mature trees, many of which are over100 years old.

Castle Hume - 18 hole, champion course, £12-18.
The course has been built only recently. It is well laid out,
but a bit tight. Clubs, carts & buggies can be hired.

& Portnoo Golf Club - 18 hole, links course, £10.
Very picturesque course in South-West Donegal. Some very challenging

Fintona - 9 hole, park land course, £10. This
course is set amongst mature trees and is 75 years old. 028

Sleive Russell - 18 hole, champion course,
£23-33. A new course built to the highest standard. Clubs,

Murvagh - 18 hole, links course, £17-22.50.
Murvagh is a very beautiful course on the edge of Donegal

 Omagh
- 18 hole, park land course, £10-15. Originally a 9 hole course,
with another 9 holes added recently. Not very exciting scenery.

Rosses Point - 18 hole, links course, £22.
Is one of Ireland's great championship links. It was founded
in 1894 and plays host to the West of Ireland Championship
